We collect almost nothing.

No accounts, no cookies, no tracking
RateYour10 needs no account and sets no cookies. We run no third-party analytics, advertising trackers or fingerprinting. Your refinements (weights, budget, requirements) live only in your browser while you use the page and are never sent anywhere except as the ranking calculation you explicitly request.
Anonymous usage counts
To understand the beta, we count anonymous actions: category visits, Your 10 builds, refinement use, product-detail visits and retailer clicks. Each count records only the action, the category or product involved, and a timestamp. We do not record IP addresses, devices, browsers, locations or anything that could identify you or join counts into a visitor profile. These are event counts, not people counts.
Server logs
Like every website, our servers keep standard operational logs (needed for security and reliability). They are not used for marketing, profiling or sale, and are not shared.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to deal with it. We never sell personal data, and we share it with nobody except where the law requires.
Retailer links
Clicking through to a retailer takes you to their site, which has its own privacy notice. Our commission arrangements (see how we make money) do not give us access to your purchases.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to it. Given how little we hold, the answer will usually be “nothing identifiable” — but ask us anyway via the contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
