About

The best isn't the same for everyone.

RateYour10 is an independent product-ranking service for UK shoppers. We pull together professional reviews, specifications, prices and market data, and turn them into a single transparent ranking — so you can shortlist with confidence instead of opening forty tabs.

How recommendations work

Our 10 is our default, evidence-driven ranking. Every eligible product gets an RY10 Score out of 100, built deterministically from structured evidence: professional review consensus, measured specifications, feature coverage and market pricing. Nothing is hand-tuned per product.

Your 10 recalculates that ranking around you: pick what matters (a preset like gaming or everyday use, or fine-tune individual criteria), set a budget, and add hard requirements such as screen size. Your 10 re-ranks the same eligible products with your weighting and shows a Your Match score alongside the default RY10 Score.

Only evidence-ready products are ever recommended. If fewer than ten products meet our readiness bar, we show fewer — we never pad a top ten. If your constraints match nothing, we say so plainly rather than guessing.

Prices, honestly labelled

Where we have recently verified a buyable offer, we link to the retailer with the observed price and the date we checked it. Where we don't, we show a clearly labelled reference price to guide your budget — never presented as a shop you can buy from. Prices are indicative; the retailer's page is always the truth at checkout.

What we don't claim

Our scores are calculated from documented evidence — they are not a claim that we physically tested a product in a lab. Score breakdowns, strengths, weaknesses and evidence notes on every product page show exactly what each score rests on.

How we make money

RateYour10 may earn a commission when you buy through some retailer links on this site, including affiliate links we add in future, at no extra cost to you.

Commercial relationships never influence rankings. Scores, order, eligibility and evidence are computed without any commercial input; retailers cannot pay for placement, higher scores or inclusion. If a product is the wrong answer for you, no commission will make it the right one.
